In 2019 HHM & Associates, Inc. (formerly Hardy-Heck-Moore, Inc.) conducted a survey to identify, document, and evaluate buildings, structures, and objects built by 1974 in Waxahachie, within the Zone 1 boundary laid out for the purpose of this project. The survey was funded by Historic Waxahachie, Inc. and by a grant from the Certified Local Government Program of the National Park Service and administered at the state level by the Texas Historical Commission. The grant was secured by Historic Waxahachie, Inc. The results of the survey are provided here.
The first link below is the survey itself. That document references three appendices (“A”, “B” and “C”) that contain information on specific properties surveyed and are provided separately in order to present the information contained in a manner that can be used for quick research on a property.
