2026 Historic Waxahachie, Inc. Scholarship Applications Now Open!
Historic Waxahachie, Inc. (HWI) is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 HWI Scholarship Program, available to selected graduating seniors of Waxahachie.
This scholarship aims to support students who can demonstrate a passion for history and a commitment to preserving the rich heritage of Waxahachie through a 500-800 word typed essay on the topic paired with a letter of recommendation from a teacher/mentor. Through this opportunity, HWI hopes to inspire students to preserve and cherish the heritage of Waxahachie and keep it alive for generations to come.
