MKT Caboose in Downtown Waxahachie Saturday, May 26th | 1:00-3:00pm
Historic Waxahachie Inc. helped bring the Caboose to Waxahachie in 2011, with the intent to restore it and have it open for schoolkids to tour. Restoration efforts have been ongoing, with the outside being painted, the chairs & bed having been redone, and now we can proudly say that the inside is finished!
Bring the kids and join us Saturday, May 26th from 1:00-3:00pm to walk through the inside of the Caboose, hear more about the history of this beautiful addition to our downtown area, and enjoy light refreshments.
Going forward, HWI plans to have the Caboose open for tours several times throughout the year, as well as at the request of schools or groups.
