The interview can be paused, stopped, or resumed at anytime by clicking the same button. The slider bars can be used to move forward or backward in the interview and to lower or increase the volume. You may also need to adjust your computer’s speaker volume to better hear an interview.Transcripts found on the oral histories transcript page contain edited content that was approved by the person(s) interviewed after the transcript was produced from the original audio recording. Transcripts may contain additional information, pictures, comments, corrections, and explanations of things that can be heard (or missing) on the audio recording.
