Historic Waxahachie has partnered with the City of Waxahachie to celebrate National Preservation Month during the month of may with a scavenger hunt! Participants can pick up their scavenger hunt map at the Charles Beatty Municipal Services Building to explore the treasures of history in historic downtown Waxahachie. Those who return the completed worksheet to the drop-box at the Charles Beatty Municipal Services Building to be entered into a drawing to win a $25 gift card to a Downtown restaurant or boutique!
Historic Waxahachie was proud to create this interactive scavenger hunt as a way to promote community and family engagement in our city’s history by immersing participants in the history all around them!
The City will draw names on Tuesday, May 28, and will notify winners via email.
