Special congratulations are in order for Sophie, Madi, and Graham, winners of the 2024 Historic Downtown Waxahachie Scavenger Hunt commemorating National Preservation Month! These detectives used their sleuthing skills to follow the clues on the Scavenger Hunt Map to find the treasures from Waxahachie’s past, and were rewarded for their efforts with gift cards to local downtown businesses.
The 2024 Historic Downtown Waxahachie Scavenger Hunt was created by Historic Waxahachie, Inc. in a partnership with the City of Waxahachie to encourage residents and visitors to learn about our community history through historic markers and fact-finding downtown. The scavenger hunt commemorated National Preservation Month, celebrated across the country in the month of May.
